Everything was perfect here - affable staff and airy rooms. Central heating, an iron and ironing board, and tea and coffee making facilities in the room, marvellous and peaceful location. Amazing service provided.

The bathroom was filthy, with no toiletries, and when I asked about breakfast, I was told it's not included, just ridiculous. If only they had acknowledged my presence and offered some sort of compensation for these annoyances, I almost wrote a decent review but just couldn't, quite frankly.

The warm, well-presented room made for a good arrival. Nearby, the Duke of York pub offered convenient dinner options that enhanced my stay's enjoyment.
